David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa in 1972. In 1975 he became Company Secretary of Woolworth Holdings (South Africa) and transferred to the UK in 1977 to become Treasurer of Marks & Spencer plc. In 1980 he formed National Leasing & Finance Co., with Howard Kitchner, providing sophisticated leasing and asset based finance packages to the industrial, aerospace, film and property sectors.
Rachael has 15 years experience in International Private Banking having worked for 10 years as a Senior Investment Advisor at RBS Coutts International. Her role there involved managing £120m of global discretionary and advisory portfolios of HNW clients. Rachael joined Regent Capital in 2009 to develop new business and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Previously Anna worked in high-tech and set up the Yazam Europe office and was the Director of Investor Relations for Yazam Europe. Anna set up and ran for 6 years the British arm of a US based charity called the New Israel Fund.
Howard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Glasgow in 1968. Howard's early career was in banking with Brown Shipley & Co., and in 1979 he set up a lease broking company for the Godsell group. In 1980 he was the joint founder and Chairman of National Leasing & Finance Co., and retains this position today in a non-executive capacity. Howard is a director and shareholder of a number of high technology companies, including Clinical Computing plc and Optimay GMBH, where he has taken specific board responsibility for audit reviews and remuneration.
Sarah has 10 years experience in the financial services sector, having been involved in the syndication of in excess of £1billion of capital allowance based property investments both on and off shore for UK-based professional customers. Sarah joined Regent Capital in 2010 working primarily on marketing, client services and new business development.
Gideon is director and shareholder of Regent Capital and has been involved in founding and growing a number of companies. He is a director and shareholder of Wirefast a global provider of messaging solutions that improve, automate and enhance communication based business processes. The service combines the convenience of email with the added benefits of real time delivery, full audit trail and the flexibility to deliver in the recipient’s preferred format, including fax, SMS, voice and telex. In 1994, Gideon co-founded a diverse retail group with stores operating Levi and Timberland franchises, Cat Footwear, and Bed and Bath Works. In 1982 Gideon built up a multi-national automotive component group. Gideon holds a number of directorships and shareholdings in private companies.
